Are you looking for a drama and theatre workshop devised and delivered by a professional actor?

 

Ideal for schools, colleges and drama groups I can develop drama and theatre workshops on a specfic theme, text or acting technique. Such as: Voice, Improvisation, Text (from page to stage), Drama games, Acting Shakespeare. Workshops can be tailored to suit any age group and level of experience. Theory will be explored through practice.

 

I have delivered Drama and Theatre Workshops for:

The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, The Drama Pool (In numerous UK schools and Ferrara, Italy), The Oxford School of Drama, Stratford-upon-Avon College, LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) Sixth Form College, Year Out Drama's Comeback Company and Coventry's Whitley Academy.

Your workshop really got the year 11 students thinking about the potential for their piece and since have come to see me to discuss some of the ideas that it stimulated. I was so impressed particularly with the devising and improvisational skills the year 9 students learnt through their workshop. They were so engaged and were able to create some really imaginative performances in such a short amount of time. I know they have developed skills that they will be able to take forward into their GCSE Performing Arts.'
