'There are other excellent performances, notably from Edward Pinner as a terrified German soldier'

(Maureen Paton, Daily Express 20/04/88)

This production of R. C. Sherriff's 'Journey's End' starring Jason Connery and Nicky Henson transferred from the

Nuffield Theatre, Southampton to the Whitehall Theatre (now the Trafalgar Studios) in London's West End.

Journey's End

Playing the 'terrified' German Soldier or 'Fritz' as he became affectionately know.

Letter from Peter Cushing

I have always been a huge fan of 'classic' horror films and I was a little shocked and surprised when on the opening night of Journey's End the Front of House Manager approached me and told me that Mr Cushing would like to meet me. I found out later that Nicky Henson had set the whole thing up and had arranged for me to have a 'private audience' with one of the greatest horror actors of all time, Mr Peter Cushing. The next day I collected this letter from the Stage Door.
