I trained on the three year professional acting course at 'Central' (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London) and have worked in theatre, film and television. Theatre credits include, George in Tangled Thread Theatre's world premiere production of Only Forever at The Hope Theatre, London and Zoe's Dad and Mr Grave in David Walliam's 'Ratburger' which toured extensively throughout the UK. My television credits include: Poirot, The Bill, Have His Carcase (A Dorothy L. Sayers Murder Mystery), Van der Valk, A Touch of Frost, Sitting Pretty and Autopsy: The Last Hours of Marilyn Monroe. I have appeared in a number of short films and I was heard as the voice of the Shouting Teacher in Duane Hopkins' award winning feature film Better Things. I also appear as Josh in the feature film The Receptionist which was released in the UK in 2018.


In 2015 I formed Seeing 2 Sound with musician Chris Long and we created and performed our first show, The Horror Show. You can see and hear some of our pieces by following the links on this site.

I voice the role of the 'Captain' in Fireblade Software's computer game Abandon Ship which is now available on Steam.

 

I have significant experience as an acting coach and drama teacher. I have taught acting and audition technique at the Oxford School of Drama and I have been a visiting lecturer at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I worked extensively at Stratford-upon-Avon College and in 2010 I was awarded an MA in Drama & Theatre Education from the University of Warwick. I have also worked for the sector skills council for the creative industries, Creative and Cultural Skills, where I had the role of FE Liaison Officer.

 

Currently I am Head of Acting and Assistant Principal at LIPA (Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts) Sixth Form College.
